Double Joy!

Alhamdulillah 'ala kulli hal...after 3 years of waiting, we finally moved to our own house. After 3 years of marriage and at 39 weeks of my second pregnancy, we finally have our own place to settle down, alhamdulillah. Having our own house is so much a joy. Thank you Allah.

I've learned that moving to a new house does require a lot of money. Eventhough I had waited for the new house with so much frustration, I can see the hikmah of delay in the date of house completion, allowing both me and my husband to save more money in preparation for moving in. I could say that at least RM50 000 is needed to complete a house before moving in. Alhamdulillah, we managed to pay everything in cash.

Two weeks after moving, I safely delivered my second son, Khairul 'Aaqib bin Khairul Anwar, alhamdulillah. I took two weeks leave before my Expected Date of Delivery (EED), expecting to rest from work, but instead got myself busy with the house moving process. I just can't help it because I was in so much excitement of moving in.

My delivery was then became overdue giving me just enough time to settle everything in our new home. With worsening symptoms of end of pregnancy, I managed to clean and decorate the house moderately, preparing to welcome a new person in our life. On 3rd February 2013, my second prince was born giving us double joy. All praise is for Allah.

Thank you Allah for all the ni'mah, all the difficulties that you made easy for us. May this new place that you gave us become a part of raudhatul jannah, where we can consistently praise and remember You and Your Prophet s.a.w. Amin..amin..amin..
